Fourteen students from Emmanuel College showcased their engineering and programming expertise at the VEX Regional Final, held at Nissan on Thursday.  Competing against 18 other teams, the students designed, built, and programmed their own robot, demonstrating remarkable skill and dedication.  Throughout the event, they participated in three skill-building challenges and six alliance matches, which tested their robot’s speed, agility, and overall performance.

Their impressive teamwork and strategic gameplay earned them a place in the knockout rounds, where they continued to excel under pressure.  The Emmanuel College team displayed exceptional problem-solving abilities and technical precision, ultimately securing victory in the final race.  Their hard work paid off as they finished in first place out of 19 competing teams, solidifying their position as top contenders in the competition.

With this win, the students have now qualified for the national finals, set to take place in Telford next month.  This achievement highlights their talent in robotics and engineering and marks an exciting step forward for the team.  As they prepare for the next stage of the competition, they aim to build on their success and showcase their abilities on a national platform.
